Meet Our 2025 Legacy Mother of Honor
Carol Davis
Carol Davis is a devoted and loving mom to three daughters and two sons. Those five children and their spouses have gifted her the blessing of being “Grams” to twenty-three wonderful grandchildren. Her children and grandchildren are the accomplishments of which she is most proud as she sees them choose to be a force for good in the world.
Carol grew up in Southern California in a close-knit family that valued faith in Jesus Christ, selfless service, and striving for excellence through diligent effort. She graduated as valedictorian with a Bachelor of Science in Dental Hygiene from the University of Southern California, but counts finding her husband, Dr. Steven Davis, the best thing that she took away from her time as a student there.
During years of raising children in the home, Carol gave service in the schools through PTA and as a classroom volunteer in addition to devoting time on a weekly basis to teach and mentor youth and instruct and lead women in her church congregation. Encouraging her children to serve, she involved them as she regularly delivered Meals on Wheels to homebound seniors, fed the homeless, provided supplies to Women and Children’s shelters, and volunteered in local hospitals. In addition to working through established nonprofits and service organizations, Carol devotes one day a week to assist friends with unique needs and challenges. Carol and her husband served a medical mission for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in West Africa from 2022 to 2024. Currently she is in her fifth year of teaching an early morning scripture class to high school students. Carol was honored in 2005 as the Nevada Mother of the Year.
